The subway - one of the most important transport systems in Berlin and one of the oldest in Europe.

Take a seat and prove yourself as a driver in several activities in the weekday of a real train driver. Tight schedules and unforeseen events have to be managed in order to prevent the transport system collapsing.

Descend into this fascinating underworld with its mystical tunnel systems and individually designed stations. Experience the flair of Berlin above ground during a normal day or by candlelight at night.

The Add-ON includes two complete subway tracks:

The U2- an east-west connection that includes 29 stations, starts at the newly built station Pankow leading onto the eastern city with Alexanderplatz Potsdamer Platz to the western city (Station Zoo) up to Olympiastadion to the end at Ruhleben. One part of the track lies above ground and has been realistically modelled and looks impressive.

The U8 connects the north and the south of Berlin. It is completely underground, including 24 stations and is a track with history. During the Cold War and the time of the Berlin Wall 6 stations in the eastern zone became ghost stations at which no train stopped until the fall of the Wall.

Every station has been constructed according to the original. Every tunnel track with its rail switches, sharp turns, stops, depots and even a fully animated train wash are completely realistic and adapted from the original. Scenery from the tracks has also been replicated as in reality to maximise the realistic effect.

In this Expansion you will also find some of the authentic trains.

This add-on is completely different to its predecessors. As a result of its new rendering technology, we were able to set a new standard for graphics, atmosphere and realism.
